Just gave the CS4 a quick detail as the car park at work is surrounded by gum trees. They drip tiny droplets of sap when its hot and combined with the rain and dust from buidling works ahev left black water stain type marks on the car.
Fistly gave it a wash at car lovers with high pressure/soap/spotless and the dirt barely moved. Hand washed at home with megs soft wash and no better. So.... Tried clay bar and no good. Then I dried the car off and gave the panels a hit with wax and grease remover and a cloth. This removed most of the staining except on the roof. I washed the car again using soft wash and dried thoroughly. Finally gave it a polish using megs deep crystal and 99% of staining is gone. Would get a better result with more thorough application and maybe another coat but it's getting darkcan not be arsed at the moment. It looks a million times better than before under the fluros. Windows had the smae problem so a quick spray with Kitten window cleaner has fixed them too. Once I move jobs will be giving the car a once over with swirl-x to remove the fine spider-webbing you see in full light. Toni

I have a megs carnuba wax based product. This will be my final product.
Alternatively, I may try something from the Autoglym range and see how that goes. Normally I spend a good half day detailing the car but there is not much point going the whole hog at the moment as the minute I get to work, the gum trees attack. More of a maintenance program at the moment and a full detail every 10 weeks when I am on school holidays. Thankfully, my new job does not have surrounding trees to drip on the car.

Is there something you can use on the seals to keep them black etc have tried mothers back to black but then you get dust sticking to it all the time.

Any Karcher is a good pressure cleaner.
A good sealant is Jetseal109 from the Chemical Guys. Trust me it's gooooooood. Try the Fade to black for seals & rubbers from them too. |

Do some looking around, Bunnings isn't always cheaper.
Not sure about the hose, my one at work is about 20m but it's the top of the line model. Should be able to find replacement hoses on their website. |

You can get hoses extended they usually sell them at Bunning's along with the high pressure hose links to screw them together. But be warned it can cost as much as another cheap HPC.
