Be careful when tinkering. Sometimes when alarm installers can't figure
out the single wire system they will put an extra actuactor in the
drivers door, or even worse they will get rid of the factory central
locking controller and put something different in.

Very few GC8's had an actuator in the drivers door, that's why a lot of them have an aftermarket actuator installed.

Per our chat today I think we're going to go the easiest option of putting an extra actuator in there mate.

Thanks again for all your help, you're a bloody legend.

Broken link fixed. Look for the DIY bits on www.fobz.org » An expression of many useless things

Bump an old thread again

I've copied this and my locks open for only a second then close. Also my drivers door does not move. I assume because my drivers door isn't opening its switching back to whatever position my drivers door lock is being the master. Reason my door won't open is either due to dud actuator or no actuator at all.

Would I be correct with my assumptions?
