Exclamation Central locking problem

Well this morning I went to unlock the car, and nothing happened.

So I thought it was the battery in the key. I go get the spare key, nothing happens again.

So I take it there is something wrong with the central locking device in the car?

hmmm annoying problem, can anyone recommend a place to get this fixed?

thanks.

peanut 05 wrx

just the brant system

and all the doors unlock when I open them manually, but the alarm goes off when I open the door, because of brant I suppose, not sure how to stop that.

mmk...
i dont have a brant so i'm not sure on specifics... but i'd say your 'receptor' or whatever its called (the thing that picks up the infrared) may be buggered. bit strange how you have a stock system and this happens...
i lost my immobiliser off my keys once... had to get the car towed (set off the alarm a million times) and when i got home i took out alarm system, replaced with a mongoose...
