Default Electrical/central locking/turbo timer/air con

Anyone on here able to run some quick diagnosis stuff..few lil things that would really help if a auto sparkey could do his multimeter magic and let me know what is where what is what and whats going on.

Once I get this crap sorted my car will be ever so perfect and problem free

1. Air conditioning clutch doesnt start..have read everything about this stuff..need to see if its getting power basically, button light goes on clutch no start

2. Female type central locking..sometimes will lock/unlock via remote with alarm disarming/arming sometimes it wont...alarm will ALWAYS arm/disarm with remote and central locking with ALWAYS lock and unlock all doors using the key..not sure if this may have only started happening once turbo timer was literally cut out so I could get over pitts...if so Just need a hand doing the cables back up and reinstalling it or removing the cables laying under dash to battery if this is the issue.

3. I work with computers and im good with cars but this cable shit...wtf how does someone even understand this stuff really...cables so tight wrapped together with tape coming and going colours everywhere f*&#k me omg really! haha what a c*NT of a job!

The A/c compressor won't start if the gas pressure in the system is either too high or too low. The High/low switch is mounted near or on (depending on the model year) the receiver drier on the passenger side strut tower under the bonnet.

Check the switch is plugged in, if so, have someone check the gas pressure for you.

If the gas pressure is too low it will need to be re-charged before the compressor will cut in.

In 90% of dead a/c issues the problem is a leak in the system & low gas.

Thanks Rossco probably low gas as the car was unused for 3 years prior to me purchasing..I did think the compressor/clutch would still run even with low gas but thanks for clearing that up.

Its a MY97, out of the pic attached can you confirm which one is the switch?
