Have you changed the batteries over?

Get the right one as per the battery number in the Owner's handbook. This battery will not be available form any pharmacy or dick smith. These places sell a similar battery but of a smaller size that will not work optimally.

You have to go to Battery World or Subaru to get the battery. And while you are at it, take some contact cleaner and clean the battery terminals in the remote.

Otherwise, drop by with the correct replacement battery, and I will be glad to sort it out for ya free of charge, but no promises --- could be the Brant unit itself (most of the time it is the battery in the remote. Although you have a spare, but the battery in it has been already there for quite sometime too.)

Same issue with main and spare key doing it. Going to grab some new batterys tomorrow.

Could it be related to having my Brant bypassed by ASG? Has only started since that happened.

Cheers.

Same problem, sometimes not always alarm will disarm (Can see the indicators flash) but door will not unlock

So its not the car batt as this is new and clearly working
Its not the remote batt as it disarms the alarm

Any ideas?

As I said, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt ? very female!

97 GC8 aftermarket alarm and im guessing central locking

But was ur alarm disarming ok but ur central was not unlocking?

Sounds like your issue was just the batts in the keys - (no disarming no unlocking)
