One place you can try is a company called Tisco, they have been around for years , as for cost that can vary so best to check with them directly.

If you google odometer repairs, I'm sure a few hits will pop up to give them a call.

So, I bought a JDM version 8 cluster and it's not as plug and play as I've read. I had to file down the teeth of the left side plug to make it fit into the cluster and I have the loud buzzing noise coming from the cluster whenever it turns on.
Anyone has any ideas on getting rid of the buzzing noise without cutting the C9 wire? I've spoke to Doug from Stechnic and he has no clue about it. Spoke to another bloke that Doug refered me to and he has no idea too. From my research online, it seems that I'll need to cut the C9 wire which is an orange/white wire but all me and Doug can find that is the closest is a brown/white wire so we're abit unsure which wire exactly to cut. |

So I decided to jump the gun and cut the wire. I would like to note that the wire that I cut in my wire was an orange/green wire. Maybe ADM cars don't have the orange/white cables that USDM cars have. I decided to cut the wire that plugs into the A9 plug when refering to the schematic in the link below. After checking, double checking, triple and quad-triple checking schematics of the STI cluster and comparing it to my WRX wiring, I cut the wire. Plugged the socket in and turned the key and the cluster came to life without any buzz! Went out for a short drive to test all it's functionality and everything seems to work.
For anyone in the future wishing to do so, here is the post that helped me the most. The FIX! 05 STi clusters into 02-03s (possibly 04s) - NASIOC Last edited by Sethi3; 07-06-2012 at 12:45 PM. |

Where is the fuel level sensor? Is it in tank?
I put a full tank in and it only goes up to 3 quarters Fuel light was on yesterday and it took 30 litres. Usually I can get about 45 liters in when it's totally empty. |

The sensor is in the tank itself. However, the level that is shown on your cluster is per-programmed in the cluster to original car's petrol tank capacity.
So for example in my car, I have a Spec C cluster and therefore the low fuel light comes up when I have used close to 40L as the Spec C has a 40L fuel tank. My WRX however has a 60L tank in reality. |

Mine has read "full" before, so this issue has developed.
I have a 2000 MY01, I don't think my tank is 60L. Cluster came out of a Version 8 JDM STI. |
