i've got this tree in the front of my yard above the driveway and lately whenever my car sits below it for an extended period of time it seems to get covered with these drops of resin-like tree sap.

once the sap dries it forms and impenetrable barrier much like a resin and wont respond to ordinary soaps and products, can't be scratched off because it's real hard and i'll end up damaging the paint.

it's also hydrophobic like wax

suggestions to get it off are welcome, it's making my car look like people have poured glue on it.

inb4 get a car cover, i will, but i still need to get this shit off
inb4 cut tree down
inb4 park in a different area
