Depends on the one you purchase.

Going off the one in the OP it looks to be genuine.

That is the genuine one in the Pic, But as Ive said Ultrex do one that fit the original 4 mounting holes and CF or standard Primed for Paint. From what Ive read its almost an OEM S204 with minor differences eg: as Marc said: Sit Slightly Higher, uses original 4 Bolts.

Stock body hawkeye wrx?

Wacking a high rise spoiler will look weird without chunkier skirts and at least a front lip...

Although if i had to choose, i'd go the s204 style.....imo the sti wing doesn't suit the hawkeye body at all....

Fair enough....actually you know what...if you can get a spoiler that uses the factory boot holes that'll prolly be your best bet....at least you can change it if you don't like it....

S204 spoiler won't bolt up without drilling.

If you go for a copy that uses the existing wrx mounting holes, go for something else.

If you go for a STi rear spoiler, finish the job off and put all the STi trim on the car. STi spoiler will require maybe 8 more holes to be drilled in your boot, so it won't be 'reversible'.

Anything wrong with the copies that use the existing holes , or just your Opinion?

Being i have the S204 Front Lip, Im sliding towards getting the Ultrex CF or Ready to Paint Copy.

I think the ones made to fit other bolt patterns just don't look right. And given you are going for an iconic Subaru replica spoiler, everyone in the know will know its a faker.

Saying that I'll be putting a S203 spoiler on my GC8 someday, but it is a proper one.

Front lip isn't an exclusive S204 item either, so don't think you need the rear spoiler to go with it.

If going down this path, I think you need to do the rear spoiler + the rear window vane + flare kit for the rear arches.

I'd rather dump the money into making the car faster first though
