Default anyone know what connector to buy? (Dome light)

Hi Guys,

I will do a formal intro very soon,

But for the time being I need your guys help, I've got a 1996 subaru impreza gx hatch (bought off BALISTC) and I'm getting around to sorting out my dome light, which was chopped off by one of the previous owners.

Does anyone know the code or name of the opposite connector male (female?) that I can buy to rewire the light up?

Here is some images of the other side of the connector (yellowy plastic piece):

Your best bet Andy, is to find a wrecked gc8 and chop the connector and wiring out of it.

All the wires are still there, just the connector head appears to be chopped off.

Why in the hell do those leads at the top look like RCA's? Surely it can't be...

Aha, yeh they are, only reason I can think they are there is that one of the previous owners decided to add more speakers down the line, and kept the cables there for safe keeping so they could trace them again when the time came.

Do these work by just sliding the metal bits of the spade connector over the two metal prongs in the connector on the dome light?

I think he means cut off the old connector and just use spade connectors to re-wire!
