haha, nah he didn't say they should be the same brand, he just said that he has had the same issue before with alpine amps being combined with Pioneer Speakers/Decks. I'm not bothered tho as I saw him earth the 4 RCA inputs at the deck which eliminated the issue.

The speakers wouldn't be sounding as good as they are without my alpine amp :P

ive had dealings with th freo db crew and they were all bad nuf said apart from that do you know what rca leads they used

He showed me the RCA leads and they were crossed rather than non crossed. All I know is that they were a lot better than the RCA leads I used when my mate did my old car's audio
