XXR's can be found for under $1000, and can look pretty nice. Solid Imports sell them for $975 a set. These are 18x9.75 +20.

Also, keep in mind you'll need coilovers etc to get the right stance, otherwise it will look retarded. HSD's are pretty well regarded, and cheap.

Hope this helps.

Standard is around 55mm offset so if you go 45 the rim will be 10mm out closer to the guard on the same width rim, therefore having a 35mm offset would allow a 40mm wider rim before it scraped your strut but you may end up having to pump/roll the guards to avoid scraping...............hope that clears it up??

It's not much but here are some spec's that people have posted up -> http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/mechanic...ent-guide.html

What rota's are you planning on getting? My suggestion is to google for other rex's that run the same rota's that you want and see what specs they run and what kind of fitment they achieved.

Look at Bryno's build thread. Being a bug eye and having basically the same body shape as your car except the front end, you can work out what it will look like. He is running 18 x 9.0 +35 Rota's. They look awesome on his car. You can run the 18 x 9.5 +38 Rota's but you will be pushing it on your lowered car as it will chop the guards. It can be made to fit, but it will be a more costly and painful experience. The 18 x 9.0 +35's will fit with just a simple guard roll and a little bit of camber adjustment, then you need to work out what width tyre you are going to run. On a 9.0 Rim, 235/245 35 R18 should do

For a wide tire (9.75"), you would probably need (at least) 255/40r18.

Also, because of the specs, it will be quite costly to buy tyres for. I'd probably recommend Kumho KU36s, as they seem to at the best price point at the moment. I think they are about $400 a corner if you buy locally, or cheaper if you buy from a place like Tire Rack.
