yeah im going to use some sort of lock(gatelock) to hold it level.

NICE, although it could be hard to find some that are flat/fluch...
Maybe just mount it right up against the bootlip area so its less noticable?

What have you got in mind?

EDIT: ALSO, my friend didn't he got a splinter and gave up, true story.

yeah that's were i was going to mount it so u can only see it if your looking for it, and that's no good for your mate hahahah
