To some of the guys/girls who have plasti dipped parts of your cars... Has it lasted? Any splitting? Ive asked around and I've had very mixed emotions about the spray cans.... but I'm considering doing my bonnet scoop in black..... Looks good in these pictures :D
Mine is fine except a few small area on the lip of the rim, maybe because rim gets quite high temp.

U will be fine, many people on nasioc have done that.

pretty awesome stuff.. Plastidipped my stock rims blue for lols. So much better than having to clean then tape up then prime, then paint, then clear.

I just sprayed and wiped the tyres after. Spent a whole 10 minutes doing all four, and when i get sick of it i can peel it off :)

So you just sprayed the rims and wiped the tyre off? Easy enough not to wipe parts of the lip? could you spray the rim and let it dry then cut around the lip with a knife and peel the over spray off that way? or easier to wipe?

I posted the pic of my scoop done earlier. It's still looking the same today as when I did it. I have ordered some more and glossifier too and am going to peel off the scoop and redo it with abit more time and better finish.

Definitely recommend. Havnt done my rims though... Yet

Your rims match your bucket!

Can you get plastidip colour matched.
Im thinking of doing the engine cover in the same orange that my car is in..

Will plastidip take the heat of an engine bay?
