Default Car respray $$

How much would I be looking at to have a body kit installed and only the outside of the whole car resprayed the same colour?

Wouldn't this question be best posed to a spray painter/smash repair shop?
The cost will vary a shitload depending upon where you go. For example you may be able to save some coin by using plastic bags to mask up the windows, seals, wheels, door jambs, etc.

I think you should save your cash for a re-build...

Don't expect much change from 7 or 8k for a respray. Possibly closer to 10k depending on a few things

Really depends on the complexity of the kit and the current condition of the car.

How long is a piece of string......

There are so many different factors, you could get a respray for 3/4k but it probably won't be that great or you could spend up to 10k. Just have a professional look at the car and give you a quote.

Budget at least $300 for a dozen rattle cans, delivered pizza and a carton.

7k for a basic spray is on the pipe.

$3k would be a good starting point for a car in good condition.

There was a place opposite Cannington train station that offered resprays for $800. However it also appeared to be a deli so I can't vouch for their quality of work.
