I bought my bugeye stock. Picked up 2 amps, a 4 channel Sony and a JBL mono. Found a near new alpine head unit and a kicker comp vr sub.. All stuff 2nd hand but mint condition, cost me about $650 all up and I wired it up myself so zero installation costs. It fucking kicks.

There's a thread here somewhere about going straight to the source, rather than through Morley.
Barter them down, I once got a $150 off a radar detector there. Only issue I can see with one amp is it may overheat and shutdown 'depending on weather, length/type of use. Not been in the car audio scene for sometime so not sure how far technology has come.

Back seat of a bugeye... Not into comfort obviously. Brought it off a BDSM aficionado?

One of the problems I have is that nothing in car stereo stores seems to have a price on it so you have to take their word price wise. I have thought about buying the components separately at somewhere like JB HiFi and just having them install it but would think just an install cost would be a lot higher if you don't buy the parts from them. Plus the sub boxes would be a custom job.
