Default 2011 WRX number plate mounts

Hey Guys

Finally got some custom plates for my 2011 WRX so I was super excited to replace the standard WA plates.

Took of the existing plates (pain in the arse when the dealer decides to use screws with little to no thread, but anyway) and the number plate mount on the passenger side has decided to become completely loose, so it moves around when you re-screw a bolt

You can see in the second picture how it's gone completely out of place & pointing at a funny angle.

Now before I start doing things I may regret later, is there anyone that's had this issue or seen a fix on the net?

Cheers Guys

Try getting your hand (or someone else's hand) up inside the bumper and hold it so you can get the first threads to bite.

If you can't do what Nick has mentioned above, its not overly difficult to detach and re-attach the bumper.

Update:
I figured out if you move it around a bit with needle nose pliers, you can get it back to the approx. original position where it locks in place. This turned out sufficient enough to screw back in place, so it's looking 10/10 now.
Hope this info helps someone in the future.
hope
