Bit of a random question but i was thinking about getting a small vinyl made with my build number, for no other reason really except to be a bit different. Ive been trying to find out how i find the build number of my car; with no luck. So do any of you educated people know if it is possible to find the build number of a 2012/2013 WRX S-edition? I know on the Subaru website it claims "strictly 250 made" then why didn't they badge them with build numbers? Ive looked on my vin plate...... But i don't really know what I'm looking for. Is there any way?

Might not be 'good enough' for a build number. Because it is just a WRX with some STi Parts you can buy, thrown in from factory.

Your right it is just a wrx with some sti parts, but its got more included extra's than the club spec, and they have build numbers. My paperwork when i purchased the car from new even says "club spec" .... Yet the s-edition is not badged with a build number..... My guess is these are just roll outs of what was left from the club specs.... So they added a few more extras to make them more appealing..... Then added the "250" made factor...... Surely there is a way to find out what build it is from the S-Editions. I know its a bit pointless but its something i want to do haha

Thanks bud haha.... Just to clarify this is not going on the outside of the car for visibility to the public, this was purely for myself.... Was going to go inside on the centre (gear stick surrounding).... Purely for self satisfaction.... I feel the need..... No wank factor intended..... I seem to have just achieved it. So maybe i will continue to find what im looking for, but without the vinyl haha..... I still want to know if its possible though :P
