i've got the "fibre reinforced plastic" black one from that bloke on rexnet that gets them in. looks identicle to the genuine ones.
mine gets hammered as well but it's only ever the underside that scrapes and you never see it

Mine gets belted every day! I have the genuine lip which is flexible (plastic), and it can take a battering.

Just make sure you bolt it on properly. They have a tendency of falling of an disintergrating if you dont.

indeed, checking your bolts are tight every now and then is a good idea.
i've occasionally found mine to have become loose..

any future installers are best to get the nuts replaced with locking ones. at least vibration & scrapes, u have security that it wont rattle off??
