Hey all,
Among other problems with my recent "new turboback and tune" adventure, one thing I haven't really been able to even address yet is the performance (as trying to sort out the noise issue took priority). Anyways, I wondered if there is anything that can specifically be done wrong with an ecutek tune? Because long story short, it actually feels slightly sluggish now(!) I can't seem to convey this to the workshop as they have a dyno chart that tells me it is better than stock, but driving it, it is like it revs up slower or something. Maybe there is some definite extra power when pushing it in third gear, but off the line it is less impressive than it used to be. Is there any way to check this or are there any common problems/mistakes that you know of that can be made with the tune? Honestly, I feel like I paid them to make it slower. |
