How is the driveability on partial throttle? Any modifications you had before the ECU+tune?

Car was stock cept for the 3inch exhaust and replacemet box filter. Unfortunately solenoid was maxed out at 99 per cent so boost was around 1 bar partially and below 1 bar most of the WOT range.

As mentioned driveability is awesome, but I will leave Cam to vouch for that.

Below is the initial power run of 150hp vs 177hp with Vi-pec @less than 1bar of boost. You can see clearly how the Torque and power curves have smoothed out even at WOT.

We sold a Vi-pec ecu for a R33 GTS-t to a customer recently, which he had brought to an unauthorised Vi-pec dealer. This resulted in a blown ecu board as they wired the
12V source directly to the board to run an external air temp sensor. Also they did understand the difference between a sensor ground and actual ground. Vi-pec does not warrant it's products installed and tuned at workshops with no in-house certification. Always ask for one.

Below is the R33 GTS-T Vipec tune.

Stock Nissan ecu vs Vi-pec ecu:

Dynochart (Note: only mild tune done as it is still running on Nissan's factory ceramic turbine which is not rated capable over 14.7 PSi. Car was set at less than 0.95bar of boost with accurate AFR and minimum timing set as can be seen in torque curve. Customer is due back for a turbine change and fine tune when we get back from holidays):

Just an update on Cameron's MY99/00 GC8.

A few posts ago, his rex came in for a Vi-pec which made power from 150hp to 177hp SAE corrected ATW.

He just brought in a VF28 to swap with the tiny TD04 and made an instant 32hp. Solenoid was also required to be upgraded. Unfortunately his STi top-mount is still waiting for the silicon Y-pipe, otherwise better cooling would have given more hp.

Below is the Dynoplot of TD04L vs VF28 tuned with Vi-pec:

Below is the Dynoplot of VF28 upgraded power tuned on Vi-pec with VF28 vs stock GC8 with TBE.
