Another P.WRX Evo X yesterday. Vehicle was fitted with an Xforce dump back exhaust system.

The Xforce Evo X full stainless exhaust system was a work of art with quality welds and accurate mandrels. I was very impressed. This system came with 5 parts: front pipe, high flow catalytic converter, centre pipe, rear y-section with resonator and rear muffler with LH and RH tips. Pipework to the muffler was 3" consistent, with no reduction in diameter.

Xforce Front Pipe:

Xforce Centre Pipe:

Xforce Y-section with Resonator:

Xforce Rear Muffler:

Xforce has launched new headers with uppipe that fit all EJ20, EJ25, EJ255 and EJ257. These headers are designed for increased response and flow.

P.WRX $750 fitted.

What are you mad about? Just came back from weekend overseas. You have been duly advised about the wait time for the tune. The Link 44s cable is not in yet and I have just arrived back. Also have told you that I will be away for the weekend and be flying back on Monday.

PM sent. Cheers.

Yas: Xforce does the TBE for your RA. It is similar to the EvoX look, just exhaust mountings differ slightly. Overall look is the same. Go to: http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/evolutio...ystems-12.html

It will look like the Evo X below:

Guys: Xforce only does the equal length headers. This is version 3 that Xforce has developed over the years with no expansion bands like the earlier versions. Quality has been vastly improved, with more tolerance against heat cracks. These headers fit all the 2.0 and 2.5, without having to chg the oil sump compared to other brands.

A lot of people are concerned with the loss of boxer noise. These headers do reduce the boxer noise but not entirely.

Heat wrapping is the norm and will set you guys back $150.

Equal length headers provide less restriction compared to UEL. Performance wise, the Xforce EL headers provide 8 to 12hp and 15 to 20Nm more atw.

EL headers distribute the exhaust gas temps evenly unlike UELs where the longer runners linking cyl 2 and 4 are hotter leading to more wear in these 2 cyls.

Do pop by the workshop during the coming week if you want to take a look. We will be installing these on a GC8 and GD WRX.

Cheers
