been seeing more Yellow Flag incidents with Vettel and JEVs car.

Vettel overtook Vergne under yellow flags

I agree with both of these, and to go along with Damo's comment, this year they could have shelved any further development prematurely to focus on next year's car, seeing as they were well out of the WDC race early on in the year...

Yup he went to Merc just for the money and is fine with driving a pos and not winning anymore WDCs.

He is reported to being paid less.

I'd say it has a lot to do with this.

McLaren offered Lewis MORE than Mercedes!

I think its two fold

-the bullshit in not supporting the best chance at a WDC - had they not fucked around for 5 races trying to sort Jenson he would be WDC
-the desire for a new challenge.

Ooh that's pretty damning! Super convenient that this has only been found after the official standings have been announced though lol
I can already imagine Red Bull looking into Vergne's data and proving he lifted off to let him pass or something along those lines though...

yes that kind of data the average joe is not privy to... all 24 drivers would have their own perception of "slowing down" through yellows. if in fact JEV had an issue or was flicking through his i-pod, this remains to be seen.

also see ferrari arcing up about losing the WDC. when you see this kind of footage, rightly so. but its done.. next year.

You can slow down but not pass at all isnt that right? Yellows mean to be ready to stop, not just lift...
