It shouldnt matter about the car next year. If hammy is serious about next year then he should be top of the sheets all next year and show RBR how its done.

A car is only as good as its driver.
same goes for perez, i should expect to see him strong as hell next year as the mclarens were strong as hell the end of this season.

Agree with all of this. Alonso has shown that he is the best driver in the field in terms of getting the best performance out of his car (lets see how VET would have gone in this years Ferrari...)

Kimi was also very consitent throughout the year with only the one win towards the end of it, will be closer to the front of the grid next year I would think.

And yes, Merc really need to step up...I wonder if Lewis knows something we dont??

If Brawn can get Jenson to win a WDC, I'm sure there are some tricks left for getting Lewis up there.

It does make you wonder why they have been so 'average' in the last couple of years. Either their developments were no longer legal. Or Michael wasn't as good as he thought he was anymore.

2013 would be epic with a fast Ferrari, reliable McLaren, cheating Merc and hopefully Mark on the podium more than Vettel!

They could already be planning towards the V6 turbo engines that are coming in 2014 and maybe Lewis saw the potential? Remember it is a 3 year deal, so maybe he is willing to take a year of teething pains for what the new engines amy bring?
