Unreal last race - a great F1 session!

Kimi needed his WRC co-driver was all I was thinking when he took his little trip :-)

I was impressed he turned it around in time. Very clever with no handbrake!

Awesome, awesome race, and great way to finish off what has without doubt been the best season in many years
Vettel was very lucky that he didnt even need to change the front wing/tyres after his turn 4 incident but raced extremely well from then on to get back into where he finished. Alonso was also fortunate to finish where he did (thanks to Hulkenburg) but as usual got the most possible out of the race and was a bee's dick away from claiming his 3rd WDC as well. Great tussle with Hammy and Hulkenburg and was sad to see it end the way it did. All in all though, very happy with this entire year, bring on next year already!! oh, and fuck Kimi is hilarious

p.s- can anyone fill me in on what the outcome of Vettel passing under the yellows was??

Excellent video here. Shows exactly what happened. Vettel over took under a yellow flag so should receive a penalty. None was given. In my mind thats crap and Alonso is the rightful winner. If i was ferrari i would be making noise!

It would be interesting to see where the yellow light is and the transponders for Vettel and Kob. In the video it looks like it was after the yellow light, but maybe the transponders show it was just before.

I'm sure Ferrari have had lots of people watching everything and would protest if they knew Vettel was wrong. Lack of protest means either there is more data that clears Vettel, or they are just waiting to collect more evidence before putting in the appeal.

It must really eat at the other quality veteran drivers, that Vettel has come in and been semi handed 3 championships.

I read somewhere that they were yellow/red flags, which is just a warning of slippery track, as opposed to no overtaking...

There was a yellow/red for slippery and a yellow above it. Then a flashing yellow signal followed by full green signal, so all is good to overtake.

But, Vettel overtakes just as there is another flashing yellow light. He can legally overtake before the light, but it looks like on the video he overtakes just after it.
