i see... Vettel scores a 3 in a row and everyone loses the power of speech? cmon guys, credit where its due, the boys good.

Hands down would have prefered it being Webber but still a handful of races remaninng and the RB8 is showing its momentun again so is our boy.

Good on Dan for finishing in the points again. I hope this time next year Dan is fininshing inthe top 5 and can give our Webber a break to move to another team as a Number 1 driver.

I must say, Vettel does know how to crack a SAD!!!

Was a good race but yes seeing Vettel win again and now run into the WDC lead hurts...

Start of the season he was struggling with the car but now thanks to some Adrian Newey magic he's back at the top, I really can't see Vettel doing what Alonso has achieved with this years Ferrari.

If (when) vettel wins this year, it was definatly a well earned victory as opposed to the rbr whitewash of last year.
Hamilton cracks me up, he doesnt even want to race the rest of the year because he cant win. What a sore loser.

What?!

Please provide evidence of the above?

Nowhere, and I mean nowhere, has he said anything of the sort.

Quote:
"I guess the pressure is now off. It's tough because there's been so much work from the team and myself to win this thing. It's too far away now, but we'll keep fighting to try and get as high as we can in the constructors', and I hope me and Jenson [Button] can have some stronger races in the next ones.

"We've had three failures in the last three races on my side of the garage. I hope my luck changes."

Quote:
"It wasn't particularly fun going backwards," said Hamilton.

"A McLaren should never be fighting with a Toro Rosso. A McLaren should never be fighting with a Force India.

"But I put up as strong a fight as I could without colliding."

Hamilton's car also picked up a large piece of stray astroturf near the end.

"It just added on to where my car was going anyway," said Hamilton of the debris. "I'm lucky that I was able to at least hold on and keep 10th."

While downcast about his championship situation, Hamilton said he was proud of himself for how he had coped with the car problems.

"It's really sad that we're pretty much out of the championship, but sometimes these races show the true spirit within," he said.

"I feel quite comfortable with myself that I pushed and gave it everything."

Doesnt sound like a man whos quitting to me.

Ill make up some shit about drivers who I dont like if it helps balance the sheet.

As for my comment Russ - I think Vettel is good, but not the best.

Raw pace top 5 (my opinion, not a Dave Flett made up fact)

-Hamilton
-Vettel
-Kimi
-Alonso
-Pastor - yup. People only know him as a crash happy idiot, but his career shows he can be stupidly fast.

BUT - fast doesnt make the cut - you need to be complete. Top 5 there -

-Alonso
-Vettel
-Hamilton
-Kimi
-Button

Look at it earlier this season.
5 laps in, not winning " come on guys let pack up and call it a day"

In a video the other day " i havent got a chance of winning mathematically now, we are just trying to win constructors championship"
His whole attitude and body language has changed from pro mclaren to .....how many more races left. Remember, its not what he says but how he says it.

I rate lewis as a driver but simply between car failures & non podium finishes consistantly have proven to be his downfall this season.
Quickest this season at times yes, but at most others, a blip on a radar.

haha i know was just kidding abou the fact the car is good. Its better than good! Its the best in the field by along way.

Did anything happen about the astro turf thing? The race director told them to rip it up then lay it again. That could have been super dangerous. Imagine if that piece had have could on hamies back wheel at speed! Go under and rip a wheel off! Could have killed him.

They should get rid of all astro turfs. If you make a mistake, bam into the sand game over. Like back in the day. Too easy to go 110% into corners and get away with it if ya stuff it. Therefore making it more dangerous for drivers.
