Love the mac. Don't currently have one but used them alot for design.
And the Apple warrenty? Great stuff. I'm glad I've bought one for my iPods. I had a 3-year warrenty for my first iPod and 1 week from it expiring i dropped my iPod. It wouldn't start. Got it shipped to Apple for a check and the result was that they replaced it with the current gen model within a week. I got the warrenty again on the new one and broke it 2 years later, i forgot how. Replaced asap for free.

It's silly not to get any type of warrenty on an iPod I think if you're a heavy user of it (and I am).

Which version Macbook Pro do you have?, only the latest ones (Penryn core) and Macbook Air's had multi-touch.

I bought my first macbook pro in 2001 and its still going strong. I broke a key (threw a bottle opener onto my desk and hit the lappy) in 2005 and took it to digilife and they fixed on the spot for free even though it was out of warranty by a few years. That lappy is now at my mother-in-laws and still gets an hours use off the 7 year old battery.

My new macbook pro is pretty smooth, the two finger track pad action is cool as is the back lit keys and LED backlight. You can pretty much see where the money goes when you buy a mac. Sure PC's can do the job but build quality is a bit plastic fantastic. My laptop can run vista and mac os, might as well use what ever you like and have the nice hardware.

Ohh...no wonder. I have the one just before the new touch pad came out.
