I was in JB hifi yesterday and they had covers on display and have started pre orders. Still wont give us a firm release date but they were saying they "thought" it would be pre christmas.

Still not holding my breath though.

I really don't think Polyphony and Sony would want to miss this year's Christmas rush. Sony need the boost in sales; Polyphony need to hit the ground running after so many delays.
I think a PS3+GT5 bundle will be on shelves (or even a PS3+GT5+Wheel combo for $999 sorta thing).
That's my thoughts.

they should, in that time there'll probably be forza 4 out and now the problem for polyphony is they've taken so long that the game pretty much has to have everything and be perfect or they'll be massive disappointment from the long wait.
