Default Any Wii Gurus out there?

I had this bloke hack my Wii as he assured me he knew what he was doing.

Anyway he said that my Wii is now fucked and he doesn't know how to fix it. Fuckhead!

Anyway I am at this screen

My Wii Remote won't work, it just flashes, even after a battery pull and re-sync on the remote and behind the card slot on the wii, the remote just flashes.

I then heard pressing the reset button navigates the menu. Nope!

Does anybody know how to get this thing working before I send it to ozmodchips?

Cheers

Dan

Further to my post, does anybody have a Gamecube controller that I could borrow / buy or know where to get one cheap. I believe this will control the menu.

Cheers

WTF is he installing Preloader on for?

You need a gamecube controller which will then allow you to resync your wii controllers.

You should then be able to install a wad off your sd card that removes preloader. Can't remember what it is though. Nandclean?

Good luck!

The wiki talk may also provide information to help you remove this.

Havnt looked into it to be honest
But i had the impression they could be modded to be able to read over seas discs. Or games when you have burnt them from the pc.

saying that my ps3 has dust on it haha only bought it for blueray.

Saying that i put a movie in there from kl the other day and it worked was supprised.

so who knows.

you cant mod a ps3, besides upgrading the size of the hdd easily and logging into a friends psn account and downloading games he has on his account.

The advantage of ps3 is region free games (with the exception of some expansion packs needing the same region as the original game), buy them from hong kong or the uk for cheap games!

Hopefully its not bricked. If you want I can install backuploader and stuff for you without pulling your system apart. Have done heaps and never had a problem. Only thing is I fly out for 2 weeks tomorrow but if your keen when I get back let me know.

Also dont pay anyone to mod a wii you can install backuploader for free and it wont void your warranty and is easy to remove. I dont understand why people pay hundreds of dollars to mod a wii when you dont need to?

Also I have 2 gamecube controllers.
