i am not to sure tim.
make sure all your third party antivirus/firewall software is turned off, make sure the windows firewall is disabled. Disable all your addins in internet explorer or try another browser. Make sure your ip is obtained automatically. go into command prompt and type the following "ipconfig /flushdns" I hope this helps. |

As for my issue - went home, turned pc off, turned it on, had internet

ok fixed ..
in msconfig i disabled the string in the services list that apple software had put there. evn though she doesnt have itunes must have been from quicktime. Just to be safe i might also disable link scanning in avg etc |
