I run multiple websites from one IP address and use the host headers
to redirect. Putting in the raw IP and my server gives you nothing.
I could tell it to send you to www.meatspin.com but nobody would like that.

You can always edit your hosts file. That way you can still use your ISPs local DNS servers for everything else while you wait for your ISPs DNS server cache to refresh.

On Windows, edit C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts, look at the localhost entry as an example of what to do.
