Yeah, my post should have read: 4mb/sec download, but only 160kb/sec upload.
Would this slow upload rate cause my car to jump around heaps on your screens? Hopefully I can get it sorted, and get onboard next week.
Wavey.

The whole point of setting a static IP in the first place is so you can specify that IP address (and only that IP address) in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) of your router. This prevents the router from inadvertently blocking traffic to-and-from your PS3 and other players. UPnP should negate the need for this but it doesn't work 100% of the time. Trust me, you need to set up the PS3 IP address in the DMZ for GT5 to work smoothly.

Here's a bit of video from last night.

I have never had to DMZ anything and I have no problems at all. Ever. Although I do use Cisco equipment not your average DLink.

FYI I did not enjoy last night very much - I think though - first time using the G27, cant fucking steer a thing its impossible to counter once the car starts to spin due to force feedback. Can anybody recommend realistic settings?

Or it GT5 still just failing and implementing physics.

Anyways, hope u guys had fun, I bailed after getting turned around for the 4th time . . .
Besides that, I was not driving well tho, not sure if that was due to general crapness, bad settings or being tired and cranky from getting over a cold.
Will give it another go next week, hopefully a bit fresher then. Do u have tracks and car in mind yet for next weeks round?
