Probably the most useful of the entire thread actually, in all seriousness.

Well just so i can some it up, your hitting the rev limiter, and because of thise you want to lower the rev limit? seriously, change gears, then the revlimit problem goes away. Or take it to AHG/Wanneroo/Collie and get someone who has been driving for more than 6 months to sit next to you and tell you what you're doing wrong.

Joey, are you still running the td04?

With my link installed the turbo starts boosting earlier and runs out of puff around 5500/6000 rpm. There is no point revving it this far on my car? boosts to 16-17psi and then holds this to redline if I want, but the turbo is just not efficient at these revs.

My car is stock except for the exhaust and link, if yours is the same but with a few different bolt-ons, it would be interesting to compare maps/graphs.
Anyone got some pc link software and cables?

ok, so your turbo has a greater top end than mine.

I know that the first time I drove a turbo, it hit redline really quickly compared to NA. I would think that the Vf turbo you have would spool a lot quicker than before so yep, you would be winding up the revs to redline a bit quicker.

what sort of power you making?

I know its off topic but what other mods?

I make 150kw atw on dyno dynamics with only link and exhaust, was told next limiting factors were turbo and fuel pump.
