i never said you were talking shit. i just gave my opinion as i thought were the idea of these threads. i have know doubt that the 350Z would have better top end power as a 3.5 should have. but to me a drag is a drag not some long distance race to kalgoorlie. IMO from most lights around perth i think a 350 would get done.

350 are nice cars i like them..........as per every rear wheel drive car 0 to 100 is not as impressive as an awd car......however 100 + the 350 will increase its acceleration and pass or be very close to nose of the rex.......180 to 200+ the rex has nothing compared to the 350, the 350 will take it in 6th gear........sti i cant say thats a different case that i dont know (there gear ratio is differnt to a wrx) they will have a better chance at top end.
(thats from a modded wrx there.)
but if u know how to take off in a rear wheel drive it will have a shot

But a stock wrx will have no chance with a 350.......stock wrx are shithouse slow

I've got a stock 350Z track sitting in the garage alongside a 160ATW KW WRX and the scoob wins every time. Until around 150-160, and then the Z just soars. But I would have to think a stock Z on a stock WRX the Z would win. Besides, in all honesty the Z looks shit hot so it doesn't really matter.

Nice cars dude, but im glad you realise your wrx has mods, so of course it would be quicker. How do the Z's go when modded??

I see BLOWN Z on the way to work everyday, Was this the same one in PSC a while back?

Thats the other thing, the Z's look heaps better than a wrx ever will. Although they are a little bit small for me!

There is a 350Z in adelaide that has a Turbo setup that puts 315KW to the wheels. That would shit all over most of anything over here! I know that there is a blower kit for them as well, i think from memory it is about 400hp at the wheels.

But they really are a beautiful car, especially with a Veilside Version 1 , and for cruising I prefer the Z anyday.

very well. Twin turbo kit, zaust + ecu and they would chop anything. Mind you your looking @ 30K right there.
