Ive done it in my old kingswood ( horrible trip )

An MY98. Good trip but went a bit to far the first day and was absolutly buggered.

Just recently Perth - Adelaide and back in the 06 STI Cruise control on stereo up . Great trip.

BP ultimate is available almost all the way. PT Augusta - Ceduna you need to do 475km on one tank ( to stay on 98 ) and will need to fill at either Nullabour or Border village ( 482 km from ceduna ) on 95 so probably want a bottle of octane booster.

Cocklebiddy has 98 and then you will be sweet the rest of the way to perth.

Roads are good and bugger all roos on the south aussie side of the border but heaps first thing in the morning once in WA. Either go real slow for the first hour or so or wait till you hear the trucks getting moving and they will mostly disapear.

Go slow past dead roos with eagles eating them. They are BIG and DUMB!!!

Enjoy the trip.

P.S. Eucla coppers have nothing better to do so be sensible speed wise. There is nowhere to run

Pretty much what MSR said. On the way home from Perth got to cocklebiddy on the first day and drove straight through to adelaide second, so it's not a long trip. However when I was going across to Perth they had problems with the Ultimate pump at Cocklebiddy and I had to use regular. Other than that it's a great trip! Make sure to stop at the Bight. I've been to some interesting places, but that is amazing.

Ok Cool, thanks heaps for the input guys!
The most ive got out of a tank on highway driving is 605kms so i think 450 should be ok. yeah the only thing i was worried about was the low factor of my car, and the road quality. But it sounds like things should be ok, lookin forward to catchin up with some of you guys. Oh i also work at a subie dealership over here so any hook ups over there would be cool

Shouldn't be any problem with height. Mine is overly low, but suspension is stiff as a 14 year old at a nudist beach, and just a bit bumpy sometimes. However I was just thinking about the fact that there was some roadworks last time I came across. About 20km of dirt. As long as you stick to the 20 or 40KMH speed limit through that section you should be all good.
