I wouldnt bother with the ECU upgrade if VERSO can take care of that.

Also wouldnt bother with the Side Sill plate or the muffler. A bit overpriced.

What about the Brembo's?
Does the normal GT have a 5 or 6 speed 'box?

GT has 5 speed manual /auto
GT spec B has 6 speed manual / 5 speed auto
GT STI has 6 speed only / but choice of 5 speed auto is apparently around the corner

Brembos would be a nice option but it would be heaps cheaper to just put them on your self. However the stock 318mm 2 pots do a pretty damn good job though.

In that case, I reckon just get the spec B, buy Brembo's from JWS, an Exhaust from Norm Buttler, set of rims and a Verso. Pocket the change
Of course you won't have the exclusivity at resale time though. It would be unique though because you could get whatever wheels and stuff you wanted.

Well that's exactly what I am doing. The company is use for my lease has a national fleet deal with Subaru now and is working on getting me a reduced price off RRP for a black GT Spec B and I will be buying/doing my own "STI" mods to her. Anyone know what pcd etc Libo wheels? Thought about the BBS ones but may go another jap spec wheel instead.

Any of the stuff listed above below $1000 i would buy brand new direct from:

Japanparts.com

GST and duty free delivered to your door if less than $1000 per import.

The Rims could be done cheaper from Rampart or some of the Vendors on Rexnet I rekon.
ECU...Verso it and get a better tune than STI to boot when they support the flashing the SI-Drive GT.
