If we did a survey on every member who actually owns one on these forums you would find most of us are under 24 (fair call i think and that makes us young) and MOST of us are hoons. We may claim we arent but we all know thats rubbish

I think its a fair call especially with gc8's.

Several GC8 owners are 17 - 20 therefore young and you will be a hoon at times no doubt about it!

the thing i find funny is they claim the cops are getting them to cut down on greenhouse gases. Who here agrees that their wrx chews through more juice then a commodore V6? I had a VT berlina previously and i wish that when my car has the turbo on it that it'll use less juice than that did but i know it wont.

yeah its true that the gc8 is becoming more affordable for youngsters to pick up, with what most gc8s selling for below 20k, the number of p platers i see behind the wheel of a gc8 has increased dramatically. I remember back when i was 18 purchasing my first wrx you would be hard pressed to find a 99/00 for less then 25k. When they do get that old they start losing their "wow" factor, you used to looked at em and go hell yeah thats so awesome...now you see every p plater driving one and its just like meh another old skool rex. I guess that shows the age too, theyve got the name "Old skool" now. And bugeyes..well they depreciate quickly coz no one wants em haha (starts runnning from bugeye owners)

be wierd seeing cops cruising in a rex thou, and just gay seeing em cruise in a astra turbo. And i dont think them driving wrx would do much in terms of emissions either?? would of thought it would make it worse, as im sure some officers wont be able to resist putting their foot down as we all know
