I bet they dont buy wrx cop cars unless the seats are changed. Its hard enough sitting in a wrx with a wallet in your back pocket let alone a belt with anti hoon kit (gun, pepper spray, torch etc.)

also i bet money they arnt doing it for the environment they are doing it because they cant catch a wrx without a wrx.

also recall that they had 10 my00's back in 2000 and rolled 5 of them.

Few issues currently with the Police cars, the new Holden Omega hasn't worked as well as first thought so the use of more Falcon's in the current fleet. The Omega hasn't been a good pursuit vehicle so far and the costs have not been as good as previous models. In the UK the Metropolitan Police have been using the Opel Astra and WRX MY03-MY06 for quite sometime now and the WRX hasn't been as good for Police work as first thought, the hoons always tend to be able to go faster. From a fleet perspective they will favour the Holden Astra in a CDI version.

Mate spotted a Holden Astra Cop Car yesterday from our office window... Was marked up highway patrol style's too..

He seems to think it was an SRi Turbo... I'm not to sure...

If your car looks nice, or its loud, you are a hoon.

If my nana drove my car, she’s a hoon in their eyes.

But im pegging that most of us are. Lets be honest and cut the crap. If we didnt want a fast car to drive around in, we would be driving around in a white 2005 corolla hatch. We go on cruises to do hoonish things, were certainly no saints. so no point getting wound up cause your qualify for the hoon tag.

They have XR6 Turbo Highway patrols now . . .
