Hi All,

Even though I've had my 07 STi for a short time, I'm always thinking of the next car when it comes time to trade.

Now I've always had Rex's and HSV's as my rides, but I'm now at a stage in my life where I can afford to look at some 'upmarket' cars.

Remembering that I wont be trading for a 2 yrs or so, but when I do I am thinking of looking at an M3 or RS4. They would be secondhand as I just couldn't bring myself to drop the $160k needed on any car. It would be more like $100k.

My query is this - are these cars as good as the magazines and others say they are? Are they going to be in a different league to my STi?? Are they worth the $$$??

Anyone had a drive of the M3 or RS4 and can comment?? Also, what other cars would be a step up from the STi?? Porsche maybe??

Personally I would be going with M3 im a big BMW fan! also I dont think you would get much of a Porsche for 100k what about a Lotus Exige? in another 2 years you might be able to pick up a cheaper one.

I think all 3 of these cars are the Bomb! I think when it comes down to it, you just need to test drive all of them and see what suits you best at the time. GL...

What I wouldnt do for either of those cars....

M3 vs. STi, its like comparing a street corner hooker to a high end escort... I know which I'd choose if the cash was there
