Twin scroll turbos separate the exhaust gases out by pairing two cylinders. You get less gas turbulence and hence slightly better flow. Improvement in spool and overall torque.

Twinscroll:

Single Scroll;

Had the HKS GT2835 installed on the car today.

Taking it relatively easy as car not tuned yet, all I can say is when this thing comes on boost it is like getting hit in the head with a frypan.....

Autronic is installed and tuned this week coming, looking forward to the results.

cheers

Here is a photo for you Huy, there's not much to see though as HKS provide a nice shiny Stainless Steel Heat cover in the Kit.

Note the braided line, I tell you HKS make quality gear. My mechanic did have to grind part of the gearbox housing off, this was in the instructions but he can't read Japanese , he only found out cause the turbo wouldn't bolt down properly......

Yep I agree, I have been taking it easy as I don't want to break anything.

I have given it one boot and backed off at 1 bar, it doesn't seem to go past 1 bar, obviously to do with not being tuned yet....

cheers

Sounds like a bit of a contradiction - take Tuna's advice - don't flog it until it's tuned.

Mixja's old setup if I'm not mistaken.

Off his old MY06 Spec C Type RA - 2.2l Stroker
Sold for around AUS$44 000
His numbers:
Pump Gas (98 RON) - 282KW ATW @ 21PSI

http://www.rexnet.com.au/forum/index...ic=57364&st=40

Be interesting to see what it does on the 2.0lt
