i posted on this topic couple weeks ago, got some good feedback and ideas around the problem though overall i think the brandt pretty good. youl prob find the thread if u look. chirp chirp chirp.

hey folks thanks for the interesting response, yah the manual would have been my first option going with logics, but you ask yourself....wouldnt i have already thought about that, arent most Sti owners smart...surely he would have thought of that? hahahaha....offcourse but i lost the bitch (lol)..fancy that hey..i got the car, the alarm system and the manual went walk-about, hence i resorted to my STI pals in here, and again thanks for the response much appreciated. but the winner would have to be the dude who suggested: "get a remote for your garage" deal. Thanks man.

Actually, unless other model cars came out with different manuals, it doesnt tell you much about different modes.
At least, my manual doesnt.


But yeah, dont take offence ray, people are just careful that someone isnt just in here to find out info on disabling the security in a rex.

If you asked somebody nicely enough, I'm sure they could lend you their's Otherwise, it's easy enough to pass by the dealership - they could talk you through the process.

i asked the dealership and they sad that you cant turn it off on my 99 model dunno if they are talkin crap or not i also lost my manual
