If a workshop was paid to swap motors, how is a non setup boost cut their issue?
Its not a brand new built motor, its a 2nd hand motor, which are usually sold on a buyer beware basis, like all 2nd hand parts.... unless a warranty is agreed too.

However, if they tuned it, and setup this function, then sure as hell I would be asking questions.

Before everyone jumps on the "lets hate workshop x" bandwagon, maybe find out more of the story?

I know where it was, I saw it there during last week. I have no affiliation with the shop, but im not naming shit. Thats for luke to do.

Luke, sorry to hear man. Hoping thats the last of your bad luck for now.

Was the workshop in question also responsible for your little engine fire the other night?

Hey man, sounds like you had a boost gauge cos you saw 1.8 bar.
WTF did you keep driving????
were you being chased by the cops?
If you bought a second hand motor and it craps itself you have noone to blame but yourself for being a tightass.

Wow bad luck mate.... I sympathise with your problems... I had my car blow the side out of the radiator and car was a paper weight for a month. Not to mention the 3 months I spent with the wrong 6 speed diff ratios which meant I couldn't drive on the freeway.

Makes ya wanna throw it away. I would probably just suck it up and buy a long block... get it working and then sell the fucker straight away to some joe random.
