Boost line slipped off on my 00 WRX once. I'd only noticed after about 20-30 seconds of WOT, and when I looked down it was off the 30 psi boost gauge. Point is, one spikes gonna blow an engine? I'm not sold on that.

out of oil + spike will though.

oil is what sucks the heat away from the piston.

I agree oil pissing out of the engine is the workshops problem, even if the engine itself is not covered there is some law somewhere to cover any work done for a specific time im pretty sure

If they aint fixing this for free you should be able to get the law on your side

Lukey, I don't know much about your exact situation, but from what I can see, it appears the fault was caused from installation. Either way, if i paid 4-5k for an engine and it went the next day from 1 boost spike and pissing oil everywhere, I would be complaining pretty loudly.

Im sure u are doing everything you can to get it fixed under some sort of warranty, surely its not "your" fault.
