Default My build finally coming together-UPDATED LAST PAGE

Hey guys,

Just wanted to show you the progress on my build. Its been a year of researching and umming and arrring but finally coming together. It should hopefully be finished in the next month or so.

Platform:

2004 STI WRB

Modifications:

USDM STI 2.5ltr built block (forged pistons, rods, balanced crank, machined
head, ARP head stud kit)
GT35R with 0.82 A/R rotated mount
Perrin FMIC with R/T custom aluminum piping
Custom 4" aluminum intake with pod
reversed manifold (keeps A/C)
Tial 44mm external wastegate
Tial 50mm BOV
X-force titanium exhaust
X-force equal length headers (coated and wrapped)
S/S R/T custom downpipe
Tilton twin plate clutch
PE800cc injectors with fuel rails
Dual walbro inline pumps
Ecutek 3

yeah dan they are.. it looks unreal in person. Cant wait for it to be finished

The reversed manifold looks stock which is awsome and i get to keep the A/C

Looks good.

How come you didn't sleeve the block as your going for big power?

Paul, i bought the complete engine off al so it was already assembled. If the need arises it will be cheaper it labour then ripping apart a perfectly good engine

sleeving just lines the cyliners with strong iron liners that means it can hold more boost
well thats as far as i know anyway which isn't all that much :P

Yeah basically thats it. Stops the cylinders from flexing which the 2.5's are prone to at big boost levels.
