I was next in line but in the other lane. Yes the lights were on when he stopped but the leaver was well and truly jammed down and to the left.

As far as I know evo 5 speeds are down and to the right I would be surprised if that is what he has done.

He did say the last owner had already replaced the box. What quality went in may be a big question mark.

Whatever snapped did so in less than a car length. No way would anyone be shifting that early.

Think whatever broke somehow triggered the lights but there is no way he selected reverse.

Would have been lucky to get the clutch all the way out.

Looked like a good launch though till it gave up.

Jaron's best was just shy of 180 KP/h. That is a fair improvement.

The Stock one you are talking about was running 25% more boost than stock on a performance tune and from what I've heard driven like we would all like to be able to afford to drive a drag car and certainly not how the designers intended.

Weather you consider Jaron's performance gain good value for money is one thing but driven the same against a REAL stock one it is heaps better and the trap speed does show it.

Don't forget half that money was suspension, wasn't all power. The car would have run a 12.2/3.
