Default What do you think of the new surface at the Motorplex?
Well after having a few runs down there tonight, I am curious as to how others are finding the 'Plex after the recent resurfacing.

The track is nice and flat, but I found it slippy as all hell still and hard to get close to the good times as per last season.

Just interested if others are finding it like that so far.

Maybe have to wait till after a few more meets for some rubber to be down. Or maybe I just need to learn2drive...

I knocked 0.2 0ff my best time a couple of weeks ago with the car in exactly the same trim as late last year but I did find the tyres lit up a bit easier.

Yea is slippery but give it time and some REAL drag car action with the huge slicks and it will get good.

Much at most wouldn't notice there was quite a crown in the center before ( only noticed when they did the burnouts on it the last night last season ). I think that is a lot less now so the top fuelers should stay straighter and go faster.

It was sticky enough for a friends mate's evo 7 to spit a box but was the slipperiest I have ever seen it.
