My limited knowledge says pearls and metallic tinters in the base coat, then go 4+ clear coats.

hmmm okay so i woudlnt paint a pearl coat over the base coat??

What type of pearls though?? colours??

Na was just havin a dig at yours. I felt bad for it seeing as someone polished it with sand. There are lots of guys who can get it out though. Sorry Matt. Just stirin ya!

Tino do your car similar colour to Mattys. Looks sweet!

im thinking 02c blue now with a heap of blue pearl either lighter or the same colour as 02c, to give it depth.

I will get a swatch made up.

Getting swatches made up is the best idea Tino. Regardless of how well a colour is described - seeing the result in real life is the only way to make sure of what it actually is.
