I really like the grey colour Jeff aka Type25 has on his car but still I think for the body styling and lines of the car WRB is the way to go.

Firstly Tino...
Your cars performance out weighs the majority of Subaru's globally bar maybe Ramon's so you are an individual there already. You have already graced the pages of a magazine also. Question is what do you plan on doing with the car? -Car shows like Autosalon? -Track? -Drag? -Garage? This should help you decide what colour. The reason being if you want to "SHOW" your beast then a colour change may be in order to assist in votes etc... Do not go gay pastel yellow...it fades trust me lol If I had the opportunity to paint I would go with a WRC blue with a slight flake or pearl just to make it slightly different.

Gold and gold variants should not be allowed to grace a motor vehicle by law!

Satin black, white rims
Or A properly done WRB that is very deep

Be original, factory colour with a black roof and green pinstripe to separate.
With all seriousness though, I reckon a deep WRB or white |

WRX's are tied to WR Blue. The paint on your car was great to begin with. I personally would have left the body as is.
With the WRC guards and overall tone of the car. Keep the WRB and perhaps give it some sparkle. It will make the car look like a factory special rather than a tacky show car. Look at the simplicity of how nice a plain (blue/red/black/white) jap car with the right wheels/stance and killer engine and drivetrain from the JDM tuner cars are. Think of Jme's and Wayne's 204's, they look hot from the factory. Bryan's silver piggy looks very sexy with a few subtle/tasteful mods. And Ramon's WRXRW has a stock look, but with the right wheels/stance, the factory lines and paint finish look amazing. Not a fan of custom paints if they detract from the factory appeal of the car. Josh's car did look the goods with extra sparkle though. My 2c anyway. Do what makes you happy, don't do it for other's and based on other people's suggestions as there will always be haters.
