Its worth it, made a noticable difference for me. Was a bit difficult to fit though. Well it was according to Herridge Snr (from memory). I was too slack to fit it so gave it to MMS.

Might check if MMS own seat brackets will do the same job. ( Japanparts are about $250 each plus $150 freight each, MMS $220 ea)
I fit (but could be lower with my helmet on), Sam only just if the seat is in a certain position. Looking at seats next year, so will need bases anyway. Will just depend on amout of effort to fit bases to car and seats.

Yes...they are side mount types.
I think the low position rail a la Japanparts is really the only option for standard seats Tim
