Hey guys just wondering when i sat in the STI i noticed the seating positoin is abit lower then the standard WRX, Could the STI rails be mounted on a WRX seat of the same year model, to lower the seating position or do i have to buy whole new seats/rails as a package

maybe the seat was just lowered by the height adjuster on the side of the seat??? never noticed a difference and have owned both types

2006sti seats feel so much higher then a gc8 wrx seat

I just moved from an MY05 WRX to an MY05 STi and there is no difference. Which is why I'm investigating aftermarket seat rails. See below thread.

Are all STI Seats Height adjustable?

Or is it just the 06-07 models that are?

I think they are height adjustable, i lowered my seats on my 02 bug eye, for some reason i feel that the STI's still lower, have to check on that one

My V6 Sti seats are not adjustable.

I dont think the 05 STI seats have the height adjustment either

All gdb+ seats should have a lowering handle on the side?? Like a little jack to either jack it up or down?

All standard rex's do thought sti would be the same. As for seat height the last time i sat in an sti felt identical to mine.

Only difference was it was blue hahaha
