In the 2years i had it, put on another 50,000kms The paint work was still in fantastic nick when we sold it, but the engine and drivetrain had been slowly dying over the last few years. Ate the oil something cruel, auto trans seized about 3times in as many months, and one day the cable snapped on the throttle (throttle all the way to the floor, nothing happening though ). So that got traded in for a useless $3000 in July 2006. That got me so much props though. "Oh my god, you own a Mercedes, how nice is that". Clearly they'd never driven it

2. MY06 Subaru Impreza 2.0R Hatch Black Auto (current)

Purchased July 2006, still lacking power to this day....

At one stage I had a shed full of 13B's, varios gearboxes & about 10 4.44 E2200 van diff centers....
Mixing and matching end plates to build motors with the largest (3b) inlet tracts, lightest rotors and best housings. I bought porting templates from Racing beat usa and used them for doing all my own porting.

I think the only thing I ever out-sourced were my PP housings through rotomotion.

There's a post on Perth rotary about people who got into them because of me or a ride in one of my cars..... Perth Rotary post ...... Funny stuff!

Blowing a motor up on a Friday night and having the car back on the road sunday was pretty normal for me lol!
Always had a shitter for when diff's & gearboxes went bang though.
